Jayda is a queer Thai-American Sexual Wellness Educator committed to creating spaces for People of color to feel empowered in their exploration of sexuality and relationships.

Her former role as a College & Career Coach for first-generation students gives her a unique understanding of how culture & identity influences how we feel about sexuality and relationships, and makes her the perfect addition to university programming.

Her years of volunteering as an advocate against gender-based violence also ensures that any space she creates is trauma-informed and sensitive to the experiences of workshop participants.

Signature Workshop Topics

Rewrite Your Sexual Story

People of color often have a shared experience of learning messages of sexual shame. This workshop teaches participants how shame impacts our relationships and empowers folks to gently unpack their narratives so they can create new ways of embodying their sexuality.

Sensuality as Birthright

Sensuality is distinct from sexuality, this workshop teaches participants about the impact of daily sensual practices as a tool for healing shame and trauma. Participants are guided through playful sensuality activities that help connect them back to their most natural instincts.

Jumping Off the

Relationship Escalator

In this workshop we will unpack these romantic expectations such as "finding the one" or having children. We will dismantle the "Relationship Escalator", which is a set of socio-cultural rules placed on romantic partnerships. This workshop will help participants re-imagine our relationship to romantic partnerships and empower them to create relationships they actually want.

“We are so thankful for Jayda’s workshop “Sensuality as Birthright” in our online healing series. Jayda nurtured a survivor-centered space that truly celebrated joy, playfulness, and healing. Collaborating with Jayda and their wisdom/insight inherently elevated the perspective and imagination of our work and capacity to hold space. As a facilitator, Jayda has a natural gift of inviting an openness to curiosity, and held a space where participants could feel seen, celebrated, and safe to explore. Jayda’s invitation to sensuality was always accessible, energizing, and incredibly centering. Thank you Jayda for creating so much room for us to connect with ourselves and the world around us, and for leaving us with new perspectives and tools to guide our healing journeys.”

“We were inspired to bring Jayda and Haylee to campus because we felt that their narratives and podcast discussions were relatable and brought up questions many students wanted to have conversations about with the structure a workshop brought since they weren’t discussed at home. Just the title of their podcast “Don’t Say Sorry” spurred a number of conversations in the APISC. Jayda and Haylee facilitated a virtual community workshop for Womxn's Herstory and APIDA Heritage Month shortly after shelter in place was implemented on our campus. Their workshop on identity created a much needed inclusive, nurturing, and interactive space for our communities to be vulnerable and connect during this time of physical isolation.”
